The Goldwyn County
Candy Ban
Under Judge Emmanuel Meeks's candy ban, Goldwyn County has become a place of suspicion where neighbors turn on each other and sugar can bring the law to your door. When Chat Kelley and his friend Freddie discover a hidden stash of illegal candy, they're drawn into dangerous territory with the fearless Jimmy Sweetwater, who plans to strike back after a brutal humiliation. But the candy belongs to Zacharias Meeks, the judge's son, and the boys find themselves caught in a conflict that leads straight to the judge's door.
